When it comes to being thorough and detailed about her designs, there's not many who are in the same league as Sylvee. She also goes the extra length to align and collaborate with cross team designers and stakeholders to make sure it's a shared vision- which is always tough to do in a rapidly scaling org like Datadog. I worked with Sylvee on a project that was to be a proof of concept for a new market test. As such the workload was intense with hard deadlines. Under this pressure, Sylvee constantly impressed time and time again with her ability to set users at ease and draw out relevant and insightful results that influenced the design of our product.
Her hard work and dedication meant that the UX of the project always had a clear vision for the developers to follow with fantastic prototype boards and demos. Her skills with user interviews meant that she came up with creative and original solutions for our product so less time was needed to re-develop the front end, as it was always intuitive for customers to use. This not only saved on development time which was indispensable with our tight deadlines, but Sylvee's ability to communicate brought both design and development teams together which brought much needed camaraderie to the job.
We successfully achieved our products goals, and a large part of that was definitely due to Sylvee's creativity, dedication and personal skills.
